Inland Transportation

All transportation activities that take place on land are categorised as inland transport, including all modes other than air and marine. Consequently, it covers transportation by pipelines, inland waterways, rail, and roads for both products and persons (goods only). Our transportation system that permits ships and barges to use inland waterways is known as inland navigation, inland barge transport, or inland waterway transport (IWT) (such as canals, rivers and lakes).
